The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) has been called in to assist with what officials are calling an “officer-involved critical incident” that happened Thursday evening in Brunswick.

Steve Irwin with the Ohio BCI confirmed to 3News on Friday morning that the subject involved in the incident is dead. No further information has been released at this time.

The incident took place in the area of Pearl and Boston roads. BCI says no Brunswick police officers were injured.
