About Today’s Guest
Raury is an American singer-songwriter and rapper whose genre-blending sound, rooted in soul, hip-hop, and folk, has made him one of the most distinctive artists of his generation. Born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, he first emerged with his critically acclaimed debut mixtape Indigo Child, which led to a deal with Columbia Records and the release of his debut album All We Need, his first entry on the Billboard 200. After parting ways with the label, Raury continued forging his own path, independently releasing a series of deeply personal projects that reflect his artistic freedom and evolving perspective.
