Ampere Electric, the electric two wheeler arm of Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) has launched a new limited RCB edition of its Primus electric scooter. To celebrate the brand's association with Royal Challenger Bangalore in the 2023 T20 IPL, the new RCB edition has been released. Pre-orders for the new RCB model of the Primus scooter can be made by paying a Rs 499 booking fee. Every home game, a limited-edition Ampere Primus scooter will be given as a prize to one dynamic RCB player. The price of the RCB edition has not yet been disclosed by the brand. The Royal Challenger Bangalore logo and team colours are featured prominently on the new RCB edition. The scooter hasn't undergone any further changes apart fromt the cosmetic ones. It still includes a 4kW motor and a 48V, 3KWh, LFP battery. It has a top speed of 77 km/h and a range of 107 km, according to ARAI. The scooter needs 5 hours to charge completely. The scooter's hardware consists of 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, twin shock absorbers in the back, and drum brakes with combi braking systems on both ends. In terms of features, it has an LED headlight, a digital instrument panel, Bluetooth connectivity, reverse mode, Eco, City, and Power drive modes, as well as a USB mobile charger.
