The is the full length trip report with natural sounds and on-trail commentary from a 3-day backpacking adventure that I took to the Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina, mid May 2019. I covered ~19.9 miles doing the Uwharrie Trail & Dutchman's Creek Trail figure 8 loop starting from the 24/27 trailhead. The Dutchman's Creek Trail tends to stick to the ridgelines in the region while the Uwharrie Trail more-so follows the streams.
