Winter Trek in Summer 2023 | Gaumukh Tapovan

This video is about a trek that I did in the month of May 2023 to a place called Gaumukh in Gangotri Glaciers. Gaumukh is located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The summit of the trek was supposed to be Tapovan which is at a higher altitude than Gaumukh but we faced unpredictable weather conditions with red alert around the area and we were forced to turn back from Gaumukh. The trek to Tapovan is 7-8 days long and the terrain goes through several rock fall prone areas. In this video I have shared my experience and the challenges we faced during our trek.
