While the "back-end" oil was out, we addressed a 1st and 2nd gear selection problem in Low Box. This was down to the interlock mechanism becoming misaligned. That was straight forward but we noticed some deep marks on the upper shaft in the gearbox. As usual, the job snowballed. Not only to change the shaft but to try to remove any swarf from where the oil may have been.
A massive task and we were unsure whether we would ever get it back together.
