Nietzsche's Zarathustra - 5 - Pity versus Gratitude

Описание к видео Nietzsche's Zarathustra - 5 - Pity versus Gratitude

In this video, I begin tackling Nietzsche's controversial stance on "Mitleid" or "pity", as well as elements of his equally controversial aristocratism.

Also, the nature footage at the beginning is fully intentional. I did that on a whim of inspiration--I can't articulate why I think it is important to begin this video with that, but I know I needed to. The lecture itself starts at 4:00.

This was a tricky one for me, but it has revealed some new insights for me. Hopefully I am able to convey those to you. I'm uploading it a bit later than I'd like, and I'm pretty exhausted. I may need to take a week off, either this week or the next week. But we'll see.
