Amish Built Greenhouse Delivery & Setup

After a six week wait, our Amish built greenhouse is being delivered and set up in our garden. The video may appear a little choppy because I had to periodically stop recording to help with the placement of the greenhouse. I decided to not talk throughout the video to let the sound of the equipment to come through. The process of unloading the building from the trailer and moving it into place on the leveled pad I had built was fascinating to watch. The man that delivered was very professional throughout the process.

This 10'x12' twinwall polycarbonate greenhouse was custom designed and built by KT Custom Barns in Millersburg, Ohio. They completely built the greenhouse at their plant, and then had it delivered via a contracted trucking company. From the time we met with the company to design the greenhouse, until the day it was delivered, the staff were excellent to work with.

I will periodically post updates as I complete the inside of the greenhouse and begin using it. I will be adding electricity and a gas line to provide lights and heat, and will add wire shelving to hold seedlings and plants. I will also be adding a small raised bed for growing winter vegetables. It will be a work in progress...
