Hatfield-McCoy Trails Trip - Rockhouse, Devil Anse and Buffalo Mountain

Hatfield and McCoy Trip Summer 2024
We stayed at Twin Hollows Campground in Gilbert, WV for our trail riding trip. We rode the Rockhouse, Devil Anse and Buffalo Mountain trail systems over a 3-day period. We went in the middle of June and the temperatures were in the 80s and 90s during our stay. So needless to say, it was hot and dusty! Other than that, it was an amazing trip, and we are looking forward to going back again sometime.
We had a total of 6 Polaris SXS machines in our group from Central Pennsylvania. We did a lot of sightseeing, visited some waterfalls to cool off, explored historical areas/cemeteries and supported many local businesses during our time in West Virginia and Kentucky. We ate at the Gilbert Giovanni's Pizza, PT12 (Pizza Mingo & Trail 12 BBQ) in Gilbert, Hatfield & McCoy Moonshine Distillery + Bar & Grill in Gilbert and the Trailhead Bar & Grill in Matewan, WV. We enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere and hospitality in each place.
