I go by King Lowkey Tha Bread Winner, My big brother Feet (Timothy) gave me that name when I was very young, because I did what I needed to get the bread. My brother Feet (Timothy) passed away in 2008 . Feet (Timothy) and my other big brother Money Mike ( Michael) inspired me to make music. I recently added king to my name because I felt as if I have grown out of it just being 'Lowkey Tha Bread Winner'. At the age of 16 I heard myself for the first time on a track ( "Rydas Killas- King Lowkey Tha Bread Winner Ft Feet") everyone was so amazed and that positive energy influenced me to stay out the streets and keep making music so I made it my job and passion to continue to make music. It got to the point where I would be walking to the store and I'd hear myself coming out of someone's speakers passing by. Music really kept me out of a lot of trouble. I was born in Chicago where it's easy to get mixed in some mess. things weren't always easy living in Cabrini Green I learned how to be a man up quickly, I really missed out on having a childhood. We moved out of Chicago and moved to Minnesota where I was enrolled into a Preforming Arts School. That's where I started to learn more about engineering till this day I record and produce all of my music. Shortly after, I had my first child at the age of 20 I got even more passionate with my music due to me going through so much at the time. My son motivated me to go even harder. THIS IS MORE THAN MUSIC THIS IS MY LIFE.
