Finally, we meet! / Shore Jigging for Bonito

I was looking for shore bonito for some time now. Last bonito i caught from shore was back in 2017. Sounds unbelievable but that's the way things go. Somewhere else, bonito is common catch, but here albies own the rocks. I don't know why, but on 100 false albacores, you get 1 bonito, if you're lucky. I've had only one hour for fishing and i decided to give it a shot. Friend told me he saw them just at the sunset day before, close to this spot but more offshore. I took the bait and went for it. It was pretty silent until i got smashed, i immediately knew it's her. Happiness overload. Thank you bonito gods! We went foraging some wild forest mushrooms, made a beautiful risotto and amazing bonito carpaccio to close this story. Tight lines my friends.
