Tempered Banbaro Vs. Long Gunlance - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - バフバロ ガンランス ソロ【MHWI】

Yep, I think this is by far the stupidest run I've ever recorded.

Azure Rathalos has always been a tricky monster to discuss, because he's really never been interesting.

The whole gimmick about Azure Rathalos is that it's supposed to be a Rathalos that flies... more. You know, the thing that Rathalos is already known for, it flies. His title is the King of the Skies, and stuff. He's a Flying Wyvern. Rathalos flies. That, he does.

He's always been one of the worst subspecies, really not giving much more to the base monster and just being even more annoying.
His case is even worse in World because Silver Rathalos was already a much better fight than its previous iterations, and then came Rise Rathalos and Sunbreak Silver which are both some of the best fights and glowups in the series.

The... The what? The Banbaro? Oh yeah this guy. Well... um, I don't know?

Look, Banbaro looks kinda cool, everyone including myself lost their shit when we ran into this thing playing IB for the first time. But Banbaro is really not that interesting either.

And I hear you typing "But Lynn! Of course Banbaro is not gonna be interesting, you had him flailing on the floor this entire run!" to which I'll respond that, first, this is World's fault for making monsters trip machines (and as a result making Long Gunlance such an asinine but fun playstyle) and second, that Banbaro's moveset even if we got to see it, is nothing interesting.

Banbaro's entire gimmick is its boulder charge with its horns, which the developers were so satisfied with that it became the sole reason Banbaro appears in every map, including these scorching hot lava caverns, just so that the charge has a different item stuck on his horns and a different element or effect at the end of it.

The entire rest of its moveset is catastrophically slow 360° tail swipes and small horn headbutts, I can't even recall anything else...
