GE DEHUMIDIFIER 50 PINT CAPACITY with WiFi

I'll explain how this model works, and how that SmartHQ app displays the unit on your smartphone.
This unit can extract about 50 pint of water from the surrounding air per day.
That is about 28 liter, or 7.5 gallons of water getting pulled out of your flooring, wall, carpet, etc...
The water can be collected in a built in bucket, or rerouted into a garden hose that is guiding the water to a floor drain. There are more expensive models out there (+$40) that have an integrated pump that can pump the water into a sink for example.
The unit initially connects to a smart phone via Bluetooth, and then can be configured to log into your home Wifi network. In that configuration it is available from the internet. You can control the unit, and read out the status.
Another great feature is an energy consumption graph that gives you a basic energy statistic of the device.
The device can send you notifications for filter, software updates, bucket full, and other infos.
