Sculpting & Hard Coating A Foam Utility Pole | Post Apocalyptic Scene | Cosplay Photo Set For AX

We carve a styrofoam utility power pole prop and hard coat it using a brushable epoxy coating called Epsilon Pro by Smooth-On for an Anime Expo cosplay photo set backdrop. How we created this powerline pole or telephone pole prop by carving and sculpting large blocks of foam. We hard coated the foam with a brush on epoxy from smooth on and then painted and aged the power pole. We also fabricated several other details you see that help sell the prop and make it look great for the anime expo cosplay photo op or photo booth cosplayers. We will share how we made the rusty metal fence and busted up sidewalk props next so please stay tuned.
