Oogie Boogie Bash 2024 Ultimate Guide Walkthrough, Villains Grove, and Frightfully Fun Parade 4K

Stepping into magic and into Oogie Boogie Bash 2024 in Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort! We’re so excited to share the opening day festivities at Oogie Boogie Bash, including Villains Grove, the Frightfully Fun Parade, Treat Trails, and an Oogie Boogie Bash DCA park walkthrough filmed throughout the night. Oogie Boogie Bash is a Halloween party unlike any other. We celebrate Halloween the Disney way, with various photo ops, character treat trails, and a special parade.
On this Oogie Boogie Bash tour, we’ll meet characters like the Sanderson Sisters in Hollywoodland and Lotso on Pixar Pier. Other photo ops available include Bruno in Grizzly Peak and the Scarlett Witch in Avengers Campus. We’ll also hit up some of our favorite treat trails like Ernesto De La Cruz near the Hyperion Theatre Courtyard, Oogie Boogie in the Animation Academy, Yokai in San Fransokyo Square, and Sid on a Pixar Pier. Other returning treat trails include Madam Mim, Judge Doom, and Agatha Harkness. Two new villains were added to the treat trails this year— Hades and Dr. Doofenshmirtz, both located in Hollywoodland!

As we walk through Oogie Boogie Bash, we spot characters like the Sheriff of Nottingham and Panic, available for photos, over by Carthay Circle.

The frightfully fun parade is also one of the highlights of the evening and we opt to watch it from Hollywoodland. This parade includes nightmare before Christmas themed floats as well as some of our favorite villains like The Evil Queen, Ursula, and Dr. Facilier!

We also spot Tow Mater in his vampire costume and his pal Cruz Ramirez in CarsLand, fully decked out for Halloween! The Cozy Cone Motel has a great display inside the main building, so we’re sure to sneak a peek before proceeding out towards the performance corridor. We head past Tow Mater’s Graveyard Jamboree and out of CarsLand. Once on the performance corridor, we head towards our next treat trail, Madam Mim located in the bountiful valley hideaway. As we make our way towards the Carthay Fountain, we spot the Disneyland Firework show, Halloween Screams, off in the distance and pause momentarily to take in the sights of the fireworks look beautiful amidst the purple-lit trees. Our next stop is Judge Doom over by the Soarin’ Over the World building, and then Villains Grove, another main attraction at Oogie Boogie Bash. This immersive light, special effect, and projection show is so unique and features exhibits tailored after Count Frollo, Maleficent, Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, Dr. Facilier, Scar, and more! Once we head out of Villains Grove, we see Bruno before heading towards Pixar Pier, where we got held up for a bit by the second showing of the Frightfully Fun Parade. We cross over after the Jack and Sally float, and head into Pixar Pier. While on the pier, we watch the Incredicoaster launch and stumble upon Joy from Inside Out, Ember and Wade from Elemental, and Lotso! As we make our way further down, we come upon Sid’s treat trail and of course hop in line. We make our way into Paradise Gardens Park and as we get a look at the pier see Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse near the Kingdom Hearts photo op (which sadly had closed for the evening). We enter San Fransokyo square with excitement knowing we’ll be encountering Yokai. After this, we head back out towards the performance corridor right as the park closes and OBB comes to an end. We get a good look at the Grizzly Bear and stroll into Buena Vista street and take in the sights of Carthay Circle one last time.
