Known as the longest procession in the Philippines, the Good Friday procession in Baliwag City Bulacan commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his ressurection. Local and tourists from other cities and provinces visit the town of Baliwag City to witness the procession of colorful carozzas. Now with a total of 126, the carozzas line up in the vicinity of St Augustine Church before thw parade which starts at exactly 6pm. The procession will take around 3 hours around the barangays sourrounding the town before returning to St Augustine Church and be culminated by the blessing of holy water.
