Ron Ellis 60T bridge pickup in a 1978 Telecaster Custom

Demo of the Ron Ellis 60T Telecaster Bridge pickup installed in an original 1978 Telecaster Custom with a CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker in the neck.

Recorded via a DIY Princeton Reverb clone for clean tones with a bit of spring reverb, and a DIY JTM50/JMP50 Plexi-style amp for dirty tones with the channels jumpered and pushed to about 6.

No pedals in the main comparison video, but the intro features a short delay (via the Jeds Peds Mini ERP kit, aka Keeley Magnetic Echo) and a bit of clean boost (via the Jeds Peds Bird Strike Preamp kit, aka Hudson Broadcast Dual).

A Two Notes Captor X provides cabinet simulation and room reverb, using an OwnHammer Deluxe Reverb 12” cab IR for the Princeton and a 4x12 Celestion Greenback cab for the Plexi.
