My first Time skiing SilverStar Mountain Resort

Today was my first time skiing SilverStar resort and it blew my mind. I lucked out with a bluebird powder morning and explored SilverStar from opening bell until close. SilverStar has an amazing mix of steep, groomed and gladed terrain. There were no bad run choices at SilverStar, everything rocked. A big highlight for me was the Backside which is serviced by the Powder Gulch Express Chair. It allows you to lap steep expert terrain all day long and crush more vertical than any mortals quads can handle. I also loved doing hit laps under the Des Schumann Summit Express. The Attridge side and the Alpine Meadows chair is also a crazy good zone and held fabulous snow well into the afternoon. SilverStar is located just outside the town of Vernon, BC. It's super accessible and the on and off mountain accommodation is reasonable. After a day this good, you better be sure that I'll be back skiing SilverStar again before the snow melts. Put SilverStar Mountain Resort on your skiing bucket list!
