President Biden departs in Air Force One to the NATO summit in Lithuania 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇱🇹

President Joe Biden lands aboard Marine One at London Stansted before departing in Air Force One en route to the NATO summit in Lithuania. A motorcade consisting of Presidential Stately Limousines arrived in case aircraft were grounded.

Air Force One is the callsign given to any US Air Force aircraft with him on-board, which is usually the Boeing VC-25A seen here. A Boeing C-32 also departed after Air Force One, as a backup.

Marine One is any US Marine Corps aircraft with the President riding on board, which is either the VH-3D Sea King seen here or a VH-60 White Hawk. His entourage rode in three US Army CH-47 Chinooks with escort by a Eurocopter EC-145 of the National Police Air Service.

A large security presence was in place at the airport during the President's departure, with counter terrorism teams, snipers, hazmat units, armoured trucks, and more staged in-case of attack.

Joe Biden met King Charles III and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during his visit to London.
