The Rogers Street Fishing Village is a French- Canadian historic fishing village that began in 1837 on the shore of Lake Michigan in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The museum has lots of shipwreck artifacts, including items from the Rouse Simmons, better known as the Christmas Tree Ship. When you tour the village, you will see old fishing boats, climb the steps and go inside a historic wooden lighthouse and visit a French- Canadian home from 1900. There are stunning paintings and photos, and many relics of the fishing industry in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
