I'm on a roll with this damn heartbreaking game. I'm not even sorry. If you like Game of Thrones and haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favour and GO. PLAY. IT and have your heart torn to pieces by these amazing characters – it's painful, but it's worth it.

So, this is basically me trying to cope with the hardest decision-making ever from episode 5 of TTGOT (it took me a week to sort of recover from that ending and the pain only comes back if I dwell on it again ;__;) and making a long overdue tribute to House Forrester as a whole, whose fate I am more invested in than that of the tv show characters at the moment (I think it might have something to do with the fact that, as a player, you get to make things happen firsthand...and of course, that this family is downright awesome as a whole :3). I also finally got the chance to edit with one of my favourite songs, which I had never used before because it's possibly one of the most overused songs in every fandom EVER ^^

Like in my other video, I will leave a bit of background info on the characters down here for the majority of my subbers who probably won't know anything about these people ^^
The video focuses more on Rodrik at times because 1) he's my favourite character; and 2) as someone beautifully wrote somewhere, he's sort of the moral heart of the Forresters, embodying their House's words “Iron from Ice” - strength and endurance (iron) coming from something that's apparently fragile and breakable (ice). I also included both Asher's and Rodrik's death sequences (T.T) because I could totally see both willingly giving their life for the other in that situation, and I wanted to show that. Both outcomes were going to break my heart anyway ç_ç

Comments are always more than welcome – and especially so here, since SV gave me a hell of a time to finish this (if some of the texts are sloppy that's why . I couldn't bear it to render it all a second time...also, why does the colouring look so much more yellow now that I see this on another computer? Oh well...)

☙ Gregor & Elissa Forrester: the lord and lady of Ironrath. Gregor's death at the Red Wedding (as a Stark bannerman) sets the story in motion.
☙ Rodrik Forrester: firstborn son, presumed dead at the RW and returned home in a corpse cart alongside the dead of his House. He was badly injured at the Twins, and struggles to heal and rise above those calling him a cripple, while keeping his House from ruin.
☙ Asher Forrester: second son, a fighter with a sarcastic and happy-go-lucky attitude, exiled to Essos for falling in love with the enemy's daughter.
☙ Mira Forrester: eldest daughter and handmaiden to Margaery Tyrell, has to survive the deadly politics of King's Landing.
☙ Ethan Forrester: third son, has to become Lord of the House in the immediate aftermath of the RW with his father and both older brothers dead/far away. He is cruelly murdered by Ramsay Bolton at the beginning of the story :'(
☙ Talia Forrester: Ethan's twin sister, and very close to Rodrik.
☙ Ryon Forrester: lastborn, is taken hostage by the Whitehills (the Forresters' ancestral enemies) by orders of Ramsay.
☙ Gared Tuttle: squire to Lord Forrester and friends with the Forrester children, survives the RW and is sent to the Wall, from which he deserts to go find the mythical North Grove – which he is told might be the only hope of survival for the family.
