Silver Falls State Park - South Falls Walk Around -

Located in Silver Falls State Park, South Falls is a real treat. Just a short walk from the parking lot and you are at the rim watching water pouring into the pool far below. Continue on trail and enjoy a short hike down and around the base of the waterfall. From the rim, It's maybe a half mile to the base of the waterfall and a half back up with maybe a 200' vert gain. It's a moderate trail with plenty of hand and guard rails. Plus a there are a few benches along the way to just sit and just enjoy the sights and sounds. There are a few other amazing waterfalls here in the park so plan on making it a full day adventure. Thanks for watching!
