American Airlines lost all my luggage.

On December 4th American Airlines lost all my luggage in Denver. My parent's luggage, as well as mine, was delayed a few hours. They received theirs on the next flight. I didn't. I was on flight 2359. The luggage was plane scanned in Denver, but nobody can explain what happened to it. It was locked with a TSA lock. American Airlines refused to offer compensation for the luggage and instead, told us they had 5 days to find it. Well, my vacation is only 7 days long. I had to wear the same clothes for two days, while we went to some local thrift stores, Walmart, and Main Street Sports in Breckenridge, to piece together all the belongings American Airlines lost. After the 5 days was up, we were given 30 days to file a claim, along with receipts to prove what was in the luggage. In the meantime, no word from American Airlines for the last 3 1/2 weeks. I've posted my story to Facebook and Instagram.
I've tagged American Airlines in both, and haven't heard a word from them. I have yet to be compensated for my belongings and I actually paid American Airlines $30 to lose it... Then American Airlines delayed my brother's luggage 24 hours, on his way back to Savannah, on his return flight. You can't make this stuff up. To top it off, I was transferred twice and put on hold today, for 3 1/2 hours, while trying to get a written confirmation of the claim I made two days ago. When this nice girl finally got on the phone, she was very professional and apologetic. The most human response I've had from this ridiculous company , in the past 24 days. She said it was absurd that my family and I were treated this way. If you see this, share it. Pass it along to your friends, families, and loved ones, so they don't have the same awful experience I had. And I'm willing to bet if I had told American Airlines I had declared a firearm in the bag, they would have magically found it. Don't fly American Airlines.
