I don't make a habit of creating videos anymore, however I haven't seen anyone mention this, and thought it might be of some value to the community.
Although rope bridges are easy to build, Kelvin and Virginia won't cross them, so if this is an issue, you can use my (slightly) underwater rope bridge in the water to help you reach deeper into the water to place logs. You can't place the rope bridge too deep, if you start to swim whilst walking across, you placed it too deep. Make sure the bridge is close/parallel to the structure you're building, or it will force you to walk into the water when trying to place logs down.
