Chapter 19.2: Use of PRF in Direct Pulp Capping presented by Dr. Valerie Kanter

In this video, Dr. Valerie Kanter discovers a pulpal exposure during caries removal with an Er:YAG Fotona laser. The remaining tooth structure over the pulp chamber was classified as arrested decay. Following ozone therapy, that addition of liquid-PRF to cover pulp exposure, stimulate dental pulp stem cells, and neutralize the effect of endotoxins was performed. Thereafter, placement of a fast-setting bioceramic putty was used as the pulp capping agent. The 6-month recall CBCT showed a healed PDL within normal limits and a vital pulp with normal periapical tissues.
