Children’s literature usually seems to have a happy ending, but have you ever considered that this is not the case for everyone? Allow me to take you back to your youngers years and together we can reassess some of the problems that surround the books you once so dearly loved. Isabella is a student at Francis Holland School and has just finished her first year of A levels, studying English literature, Drama and Theology and Philosophy. She has always found herself excited by English literature and intends to explore it further at university.
