A HOLY LIFE, A HOLY LABOR- Not by my might, nor by my power, but by the Spirit; self is our greatest enemy. Tonight at the closing service of IYC 2024, Pastor Joseph Larson reads Zechariah 4:6-7 teaching on how the believer’s proper faith will lead to a surrender and submission so that the Holy Spirit can move in our lives. All too often believers will wrongly set out to labor for the Lord in our own strength, and our carnality wars with our spirituality. Self cannot perform the work of God. Our labor for Him is a result of our faith anchored in what He accomplished at Calvary; then, His grace will redesign our lives. When imperfect man meets our perfect Savior, He will give us a ministry that serves Him. Truth and righteousness is our best defense against Satan as we labor for the Kingdom of God, which is all for His glory.
