Russia & Ukraine supply around a third of the WHEAT exports globally. The War in Ukraine has disrupted this supply and resulted in an increase of OVER 50% in the Price of Wheat. This has led to a FOOD CRISIS and SHORTAGES in some of the Developing World. India is the SECOND largest producer of Wheat in the world and Exported 1.4 million tonnes in April. However India has now announced a BAN on Wheat Exports. In this video I look at the current state of the market, why India has introduced this ban and the Implications for the World.
