Coral reefs are vital for life in the ocean—and for creating some of the best bodyboarding waves on the planet. Known as the “rainforests of the oceans,” they support 25% of marine life, provide food and livelihoods for millions, and protect coastal communities. But these ecosystems are under serious threat from climate change and overexploitation.

Off Nusa Penida, near Nusa Lembongan in Bali — where we run one of our tropical bodyboard escapes — an inspiring reef restoration project is underway. Led by Mossy Earth, co-founded by our trip leader Matt ‘Mave’ Davies, this initiative is working to reverse reef damage and support marine biodiversity. We’ve proudly supported Mossy Earth since their inception, sharing their mission to restore wild ecosystems, protect wildlife, and fight climate change.

We hold our annual bodyboard coaching holiday to Nusa Lembongan each October. The trip is led by 2017 World Champion Iain Campbell and our next trip has the final places remaining.
