World War II and D-Day veteran William Pekrul says "it hurts my heart to see what our current president and vice-president have done to the country I love so well”.

His remarks came during his speech on day three of the Republican National Convention.

“They humiliated us in Afghanistan … pushed around in China," he said.

“They let our own southern border get overrun.”
