They're rolling out plugins for ChatGPT so they can study their real-world use, impact, and safety and alignment challenges.

Plugins can be created by third parties and OpenAI have included ChatGPT Plugins that enable you to browse the web and edit code from within ChatGPT which completely changes the game.
