This is our Koh Chang, Thailand recap. We think this is one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. We've spend 3 nights on the island, which fine to see almost everything.

After spending a two days in Bangkok (more than enough). We took an taxibus (1togo) for a 7 hour drive to the ferry, then 30 minutes to the island of Ko Chang. It was all easy to arrange and get there and the taxi brought us al the way to our resort..

The Island of Ko Chang. Its very safe, even with the Cambodia issues, you will notice that nobody talks about it and you do not need to worry about anything. We went here end of January 2026.

Stunning Mangrove forests, beaches, temples and just an overall nice island. It's not so crowded as the other islands like Koh Samui and Phangan. Rented a scooter to discover the island. Very safe and easy to drive, but you really need 150cc or more to drive up the roads.

🐵+🦜 You'll find monkey's everywhere. But also those amazing Hornbill birds, be sure to look in the trees! They are huge!

When driving around also make sure to stop at some breathtaking views from the random piers.

Sunsets and fire shows. Just go to the beaches before sunset and sit down, relax, enjoy.

Recommend stay at @lazyrepublique (find them on inst) which was wonderful! There were saw the hornbill birds almost every day.
