Kajada / vettu cake / muttakose is usually made in maida, white sugar and eggs. But in this video, Kajada is made with wheat flour and brown sugar without eggs. Important points to remember while making this Wheat flour kajada :

add very little water while kneading the dough
as we are adding baking soda, kajada expands in size, so make sure you fry two or three at a time
after frying, it will be soft. But once it is cooled, it will become crispy outside and soft inside

Ingredients : [ 1 CUP SIZE = 240 ML ]

Wheat flour - 1 1/4 cup
rava - 1/4 cup
baking soda - 1/4 tsp
salt - a pinch
brown sugar - 1/2 cup
cardamom - 3
ghee - 2 tablespoon
water as needed
oil - for frying
