Amazon Echo Sub Unbox and Setup

Let's get the brand new Amazon Echo Sub unboxed, setup, and working here. There's really an amazing device here, and it's the one device that I think really sets Amazon apart from other makers of smart home technology.

Now, setup is quite easy due to Amazon's new simple set up process, but I do want to show you how to get that device working if you have any issues with initial set up. Now once you get the Echo Plus working in your Alexa app, you're going to need to set the device up and get it working in a sub pairing. That's the major benefit to this device and it's obviously the main reason to own one of these. It's really not a difficult setup, but there are some nuances to what you can create (in terms of a 2.1 speaker system). For example, I couldn't use my Echo Dot with my Echo Plus and my Echo Sub. In any case, once you make the Echo Sub pairing with another device, it will use that going forward whenever you ask Alexa to play music from Spotify or Amazon Music. Bluetooth connections, however, do not work with a sub pairing.
