This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is a beautifully restored 2 door sedan with fantastic options and upgrades! From the mid to late 1950s, perhaps the most identifiable automobile of the every day Joe, was a Chevrolet. Starting in 1955, Chevrolet's passenger car lineup underwent a complete redesign that pushed automotive style into the future and led to 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevys becoming some of the most iconic classic cars ever produced. Moreover, this period from 1955 through 1957 would become colloquially known as the "Tri-Five" Chevy era that remains today one of the most popular collector cars. This particular 1956 Bel Air comes to us after spending the better part of the past 10 years in the hands of an east coast collector who clearly took great care of this classic. Powering it is a 265 V8 engine paired with a single 2 barrel carburetor. Exhaust exits the small block Chevy powerplant via a dual exhaust setup. The 265 V8 is backed by a Powerglide Automatic transmission This Chevy sports numerous desirable updates and options like power steering, dual outside chrome mirrors and upgraded power front disc brakes along with an upgraded dual master cylinder. Riding on a set of 215/70R15 radial tires mounted on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, this 1956 Chevy Bel Air has a fantastic look and even better ride, whether you're cruising the open road or showing off this gorgeous rig at the local car show. The exterior of this 1956 Chevrolet has been refinished correctly in a beautiful paint scheme consisting of Harbor Blue and Nassau Blue that completes the dazzling exterior look of this Tri-Five Chevy. The interior of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is magnificent! The front and rear bench seats wear the correct two-tone upholstery consisting of blue vinyl with blue cloth inserts. The blue carpeting, upholstered door panels, and steering wheel are all in fantastic shape as well and all appear to retain a nice stock appearance. The instrument cluster is outfitted with a 110 MPH speedometer, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge, along with indicator lights tor oil pressure and generator activity. The dash is finished off with a locking glovebox, retro-style AM/FM/Cassette radio head unit, clock, and integrated speaker. Additionally, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD entertainment system has been tastefully tucked underneath the dash so that you can listen to all of your tunes while crusing down the road.
