If you’re a 1999-2010 Mustang V8 owner looking to create a consistent, reliable launch on the track, strip, or even on the street, then the MSD Launch Master 2-Step Rev Limiter is an option worth considering. This launch control connects to the factory coils and it works by cutting spark, not fuel, and is a safe and effective launch control for your Mustang. By intercepting the signal from the ECU to the coil, the Launch Master cuts the ignition in order to maintain a consistent RPM allowing for an easy and optimal launch off the line, every time.

Define Your Launch RPM. MSD Launch Master 2-Step Rev Limiter will give you the ability to define your launch RPM that the device will then maintain, so you can focus on the tree rather than chasing the tach. It is easy to set with two built-in rotary dials ranging from 2,000 to 11,900 rpm in 100 rpm increments. This 2-Step Rev Limiter also features a LED that will show when the launch control is active.

Some Light Wiring Required. The MSD Launch Master 2 Step Rev Limiter will connect directly to the factory coils, but some wiring will need to be run into the cabin and hooked up to the clutch switch. This install should take approximately one hour of your time and doesn't need any specialty tools.
