From the Vault: M1919A4 Browning Machine Gun

Описание к видео From the Vault: M1919A4 Browning Machine Gun

Join Paul Levy as he takes a look at the history and “guts” of the M1919A4 Browning machine gun. The M1919A4 is a variant of the M1919, which can be easily recognized by the circular holes in the barrel jacket and its 24-inch bull barrel. The M1919 Browning and its variants were used extensively during WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam War as a light infantry, aircraft and anti-aircraft machine gun. Many of these guns have been rechambered in 7.62x51 and continue to be used up to the present day. If you have a firearm you’d like to see featured in the From the Vault series, please let us know.
