Train Time in Boulder on the HO Scale Colorado & Southern Ry - Ep 6

Описание к видео Train Time in Boulder on the HO Scale Colorado & Southern Ry - Ep 6

It's June 1958, and America still travels by train. And Train No. 30, the southbound Shoshone, is the premier passenger train on the Northern Division. Before it reaches its terminal in Denver, it has a final station stop in Boulder Colorado.

A small college town of about 30,000, Boulder springs to life when No. 30 arrives. Enjoy the action in and around the downtown Boulder Depot as passengers prepare for their journeys, or scramble to catch the train.

The Boulder Depot is the final project on the Colorado & Southern Northern Division. Its installation on June 10, 2024 completed the layout. Construction of the Colorado & Southern Northern Division began in May 1991.

In 1958, the Colorado & Southern Railway used time tables, train orders, and operating rules to move trains up and down the Colorado Front Range. The operating crew of the C&S Ry Northern Division model railroad replicates this system on the layout. This is a sample of their efforts.
