Shown are 6 models of the Etoile du Nord second class Pullman car used by the CIWL. The Etoile du Nord train between Paris and Amsterdam was the first CIWL Pullman train with second class cars, these cars are all known by the type name Etoile du Nord. There were cars without and cars with kitchen. I show here model of the cars with kitchen, so called WPc cars. There were 20 of these cars which were numbered WPc 4091 - 4110.

The gauge 1 car to a scale of 1:32 is a model of WPc 4091, i.e. the first one of the series of EdN cars. It is made by Märklin in 2025 and is part of a set of six cars Märklin made using the name Edelweiss Pullman Express. It is a brass and metal car which however has a plastic interior. It has interior lights at the ceiling and lighted table lamps which can digitally be switched on and off.

The gauge 0 car to a scale of 1:43.5 is a model of WPc 4095. It is made by the Italian company Elettren to my order in 2022. It is a metal car with metal interior and with a plastic roof. It has interior lights at the ceiling.

The gauge H0 cars are plastic and to a scale of 1:87.
The original Jouef car is a model of WPc 4099 with catalog number 5322. It was made around 1995 and is the most detailed car the original Jouef company ever made. It was made in the range Jouef Passion and with the many parts the buyer had to attach it looked more like a kit.

The Jouef Hornby car is a model of WPc 4096 and is part of a set Jouef made with the name Etoile du Nord which had catalog number HJ4198. The set was released in 2025. This car has interior lights and wears the early livery as used on these cars when the Etoile du Nord was introduced in 1927. All other cars I show have the later livery.

The RivaRossi car is a model of WPc 4092 and came in a set with three EdN cars with catalog number 3642. These were based on the Jouef tooling since RivaRossi had taken over Jouef. It is a product of the late nineties.

The Trix car was made by Märklin/Trix in a set with catalog number 26470 for the Edelweiss Pullman Express. This set was released in 2024. The car has interior lights. The color of the lettering is a bit strange making it difficult to read the car number which is 4091.
