Kia Connect & Kia Access App

Kia Connect builds on the existing catalog of features with new updates and added amenities, including Over the Air updates, which will be available on select Kia vehicles.
The Kia Access App is refreshed with new features on your Apple and Android devices.
The new interface offers added compatibility to access features including remote start, remote climate control, remote door lock/unlock as well as some EV specific features, like checking the battery status and scheduling your charging.
Aside from increased convenience, the Kia Access App will provide Kia owners with a more streamlined and intuitive user experience.
To make the most of your Kia Connect infotainment system, start by downloading the Kia Access App to your smartphone…
Then agree to the Terms of Service…
And consent to the Privacy Policy.
Next, to log in, enter the phone number or email you used to activate Kia Connect in your vehicle’s infotainment system.
If you haven’t done that yet, refer to the Kia Connect Activation video.
Now, using the Kia Access app, you can schedule maintenance:
On the app, go to MAINTENANCE, then press REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT button.
Here you can set up an appointment with your nearby Kia dealer.
The STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY feature can assist law enforcement in the recovery process.
LAST MILE NAVIGATION will provide walking directions to destinations for up to one mile away.
On your infotainment system, Kia Connect can integrate your personal calendar and shows calendar events.
You can use Kia Connect as your Wifi HotSpot as well as get over-the-air map updates for the navigation system.
Kia Connect can automatically call 911 via the built-in modem if an airbag deploys.
And for non-emergencies, it can connect with 24/7 roadside assistance and share the vehicle’s location.
Another feature is CONNECTED WEATHER – it provides weather information for more than 25,000 cities…
And CONNECTED ROUTING is a cloud-based system that calculates the optimal route using real-time maps.
Using enabled smart speakers, SMART SPEAKER INTEGRATION will let Kia owners remotely control some functions of their Kia, such as remote start.
And the VOICE ASSIST feature will allow the voice control of certain vehicle functions.
