In this video, we teambuild around Calyrex-Shadow Rider and Kyogre in a bit of a unique but solid way! Rather than going for a hyper offensive team with Tailwind from something like a Tornadus/Whimsicott and a Regieleki, we've opted to go for a more controlled, balanced, and bulkier approach. The Incineroar and Grimmsnarl are relatively standard on slower Kyogre teams like this, as they're able to slow the game down with Initmidate and Fake Out support, followed by screens to mitigate damage, and speed control and paralysis from Thunder Wave.

Zapdos is great on Kyogre teams since it does well against both the mirror and sun teams since you have Airstream for the opposing Venusaur which can also make your Kyogre and Calyrex Shadow Rider faster. Max Flare (heat wave) is also great against Groudon, Venusaur, and Zacian teams, and Max Lightning does well into Charizards and Kyogres. The Calyrex Shadow Rider this time around has Trick Room, which allows you to put the Assault Vest Ferrothorn into position to dynamax and deal a bunch of damage. The Kyogre is a Calm Mind slower Kyogre, but it's meant to benefit from those Calm Mind boosts, as well as the defense boots from Max Steelspike, and the screen support.
