This video shows the remarkable performance of 3 of our 5 Hyper Racing 1500 Watt 48 Volt Scooter w/off-road tires in an off-road environment. The video was taken by Gabe P. and shows two other riders on these magnificent scooters. The 2nd rider, Max, is just 9 years old and I had to shorten his seat for him to ride as the scooters arrive with high seats. The video was taken on private property trails through woods in upstate New York near the Canadian border. A portion of the video was taken on an abandoned rail line showing a former steam engine storage shed.

Overall, the video covers about 5-6 miles of trail riding. The scooters are so quiet we once almost hit a deer. But we often come up on deer, foxes, and other woods animals. A real plus with electrics - no gas fumes, motor noise or checking the gas/oil with each ride. Will sell our 5 gas powered scooters.

The escooters were purchased though Hypertoyz on Ebay or HyperPowerSports.com on their webpage. They are a Florida based company. At the time of purchase in 2015 they cost about $600 w/shipping - a modest price for such a powerful scooter that can go over 30 mph. I strongly recommend the larger frame & tire off-road model over the scooters similar in design to the UberScoot model. They ride much better than those tiny tire scooters particularly on gravel roads or trails. However, perhaps in Fla since they can be used on public paved roads the smaller scooter may be easier to fold and load in a car or truck for transporting. But both models are collapseable for transporting.

These are terrific in a remote cottage setting with private roads. Must be registered & licensed in NY State for use on County or State owned former rail trails (under an ATV type category) and cannot be used on roads with traffic as they apparently can in the state of Florida. Some of the more expensive model escooters can be used on highways in NY. No license required for use on private property as we used them here.

I did have some initial problems with wires burning up until I installed terminal blocks to connect the motor wires to the controller. That ended the problem and Hypertoyz suggested manufacturer design changes from that experience.
