Hadja Cross was born in a Muslim country to a strict Muslim family. The only thing she ever wanted was to be loved, but she never found much. Her dad abandoned her after taking a new wife, her mother beat her, her uncle molested her, and her aunt did as well. She looked to her dad to save her. She cried to Allah for help. Neither was there. Instead, an Islamic cleric stepped into the void... and raped her.

When Hadja tried to kill herself and failed, she cried out to Allah once more. He didn't answer, but when she went to bed that night Jesus did. Jesus showed up. Her mom told her the dream meant nothing and she let it go. But Jesus didn't. He kept pursuing her through friends, through signs, through dreams, and through a waking vision. When Hadja finally gave in and accepted Jesus, everything changed in an instant. She was healed of a lifetime of pain and given the love of God. She was also given the gift of dreams and tongues and has continued to have spiritual encounters in the years since.
