After years of breathing in the flux fumes, not being extracted by my Hakko 493 desktop Extractor Fan, and having space issues when trying to extract fumes alongside my bench magnifier or trinocular microscope, it was time to find (and upgrade) to a more powerful, effective, and flexible Fume Extractor!
