The State Election Commission, Mizoram (SEC) today organized a one-day training for Municipal Returning Officers (MROs), Asst.MROs, Election Officers and Nodal Officers for the upcoming Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC) elections.

The training was opened by State Election Commissioner Dr. H.Lalthangliana said that election duty is the most important thing for government employees. The SEC does not care whether the official is busy with his office work, but whether he is efficient. Therefore, the SEC is confident that the AMC election will be conducted in a fair manner.
