VOA 60: Kenya’s President Ruto fires most of his cabinet and more

Kenyan President William Ruto said on Thursday that he was dismissing all cabinet ministers except the foreign minister. The action follows deadly nationwide protests sparked by planned tax hikes, which Ruto was forced to abandon.
Authorities in Libya said Wednesday that they have expelled at least 6,000 illegal migrants so far in 2024. Interior Minister Imad Trabelsi said that between 70% and 80% of foreigners in Libya have entered the country illegally.
