پہلے شرما کے مار ڈالا
پھر سامنے آ کے مار ڈالا

مکمل غزل:

پہلے شرما کے مار ڈالا
پھر سامنے آ کے مار ڈالا

ساقی نہ پلائی تو نے آخر
ترسا ترسا کے مار ڈالا

عیسیٰ تھے تو مرنے ہی نہ دیتے
تم نے تو جلا کے مار ڈالا

بیمارِ الم کو تو نے ناصح
سمجھا سمجھا کے مار ڈالا

خنجر کیسا فقط ادا سے
تڑپا تڑپا کے مار ڈالا

یادِ گیسو نے ہجر کی شب
الجھا الجھا کے مار ڈالا

فرقت میں ترے غم و الم نے
تنہا مجھے پا کے مار ڈالا

خنجر نہ ملا تو اس نے بیدمؔ
آنکھیں دکھلا کے مار ڈالا

pahle sharmā ke maar Daalā
phir sāmne aa ke maar Daalā

saaqī na pilā.ī tuune āḳhir
tarsā tarsā ke maar Daalā

iisā the to marne hī na dete
tum ne to jilā ke maar Daalā

bīmār-e-alam ko tū ne nāseh
samjhā samjhā ke maar Daalā

ḳhanjar kaisā faqat adā se
taḌpā taḌpā ke maar Daalā

yād-e-gesū ne hijr kī shab
uljhā uljhā ke maar Daalā

furqat meñ tire ġham-o-alam ne
tanhā mujhe pā ke maar Daalā

ḳhanjar na milā to us ne 'bedam'
āñkheñ dikhlā ke maar Daalā
