Animals director/producer Sophie Hyde describes the process of adapting Emma Jane Unsworth’s novel of the same name to the screen.

Hyde talks about how long-time collaborator Bryan Mason both shot and edited the feature, and how this unique approach can enhance the storytelling process.

She also reflects on past learnings from her debut feature 52 Tuesdays and how this helped her approach to current projects.
