Pokemon R/B - 8F for Beginners

Описание к видео Pokemon R/B - 8F for Beginners

(Read description for more information and corrections)
In this video, I will be going across the relatively quick and easy ways to acquire 8F and setting up bootstrap codes and item scripts, using quicker methods that some people may not know about yet, such as "dry" underflow or the semi-trainerless Mew Glitch and a quicker 233HP Pidgey.

At 15:50, I state that you can do the Trainer Escape Glitch to obtain an easy Kangaskhan. What you should do instead is catch an 'M while you are duplicating X Specials, then feed it a Rare Candy so it evolves into a Kangaskhan. Just make sure you have room in the party if you catch a Level 0 'M to avoid a crash.

When you are doing the Dry Underflow, I would recommend you remove all items from your bag, either by tossing or storing them in the PC. This will ensure that when you attempt the Dry Underflow your inventory will look like this:
x1 Any Item
x1 Any Item
x255 X Specials
Cancel

How do I tell how many items I have above x99?
When viewing item stacks above x99, they will appear as glitch text that changes based on the current tileset. Refer to this image, which uses the Pokemon Center tileset, to work out the items quantity:

What are the other potential bootstraps?
The one mainly used in the video was this bootstrap (cred. Pigdevil2010)
Exactly 5 Pokémon in the party:
-Pidgey with 233HP
-Parasect
-Onix
-Tentacool
-Kangaskhan

There is a more compact bootstrap, but it requires hard to obtain glitch Pokemon, unless obtained via Catch 'em All script:
Exactly six Pokemon (not all scripts work with this):
-h Poke (hex:C3, Mew Glitch Stat: 195) (Have a Gengar registered as owned to avoid Pokedex entry)
-Onix
-M p'u ゥ (Hex:D3) (Revive x211 in the Catch 'em All script or trade a Pichu via Johto Guard Glitch)
-Remaining three Pokemon of your choice.

Item Scripts used in the video:
Catch 'em All (alt version), just be careful with acquiring certain glitch Pokemon that may change item or item quantities:
-Any item
-8F
-Repel x(Quantity = Index, e.g. x97 gives Sandslash. See Hex List link)
-X Speed x14
-Ultra Ball x64 (Change to a different item to change Level, refer to the Hex List for the item that corresponds with that Level, e.g. Repel = Lv30)
-TM05 x72
-Lemonade x201

Instant Hall of Fame (cred. wack0)

So, this is my first attempt at a full on tutorial, so I apologise if the format is a little choppy. I tried to keep it as simple as possible but I didn't expect it to come out at just under half an hour long, oops, I think I could've shortened down a few clips to be honest. There's definitely improvements to be made which will be carried over to the next tutorial, if I do make a new one. Basically tl;dr trying it out to help some people.
