Howard Ashman may well be the single person most responsible for the renaissance of Disney in the 90s. He revolutionized the approach to songs and stories. And he had an amazing life before that too. His influence has touched so many people around him and even beyond his life, including Alan Menken, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and so many more at Walt Disney Animation.
